Marcus Thuram has become the latest Inter Milan player to withdraw from the national team after being unfit to play for the French national team.

Thuram has been named in Didier Deschamps’ France squad for this week’s Nations League quarter-final against Portugal.

The 27-year-old forward had reported สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน to Clairefontaine as usual but was allow to return to the club after a medical by France’s doctor France Le Gall confirmed he still had an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, Didier Deschamps gave his blessing to the Inter talisman and subsequently explained why.

“We have to play the first match, and the second will come soon,” Deschamps said.

“Obviously, I’m not here to take unnecessary risks, just like with Marcus Thuram, who could have stayed with us.

“I think about the players’ physical well-being. I have to take care of them, and that will be part of my approach.

“The squad is here with the goal of securing qualification, which doesn’t rule out the possibility of managing playing time.

“I don’t have the answer today – I’m already focus on the first match,” he conclude.

Earlier, attacking defender Denzel Dumfries withdrew from the Netherlands squad due to injury, while Nikola Zalewski withdrew from the Poland squad, making three Inter Milan players withdraw from the squad this time around.
